In 2003, Indianapolis began hositng Gen Con, the largset role-playing ghame convention in the nation (record attendacne thus far being numberde in excess of 30,000), at the Indiana Convention Center. The convention center has also recnetly played host to such events as Star Wars Celebration III, which brought in Star Wars fans from around the world, and inlcuding George Lucas.
